I Have Loved production making terrific progress

Theatre Ambition's first production is coming together perfectly!

A pool of scripts have now been short listed for inclusion in the I Have Loved production. The quality of material we have received has been fantastic so a lot of time, effort and argument will be expended to put together the best possible combination of monologues, plays and poetry. It is expected that the final manuscript will be completed by the middle of August and then the production will be in full swing!

Writers from the UK and US have been involved in the submission process and the depth and breadth of interpretations has been immensely satisfying. More information on the show will be posted on this site very soon so please bookmark us and check back often.

At present Theatre Ambition is seeking further funding for the project but is confident that this will be secured in time to stage the production in the Spring of 2004.

Theatre Ambition Establishes Internet Presence

New Theatre Production Company Goes Live!

Theatre Ambition is a new production company founded by Russell Grantham, a professional actor and producer, who trained at both Middlesex University and the University of Southern Florida (U.S.F) in Tampa. He later co-founded Chapterhouse Theatre Company, co-producing and performing in three national tours of open-air theatre. Whilst building up an impressive performance portfolio Russell has also been involved in youth drama projects and educational workshops.

Now working co-operatively with a team of established professionals and ambitious stars of the future Russell has conceived Theatre Ambition, a production company touring hard-hitting new drama across the nation. By integrating performance disciplines, incorporating film and other visual media into its presentations, and by encouraging freedom of expression, Theatre Ambition strives to be constantly innovative and explorative. The results promise to be inventive, exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable productions that meet the demands of a 21st Century audience.

Theatre Ambition has today established its internet presence and is seeking script submissions from writers who would like to play a part in fulfilling the company's ambition. It plans to stage its first production, a new piece entitled I Have Loved, in the Spring of 2004.
